One 𝕏 Challenge, One Big Idea: Muchiround's Origin Story

One day, sitting bored in my house I wondered to myself, what fun events are happening this weekend? At that moment, it occurred to me that I didn't have a go-to app for this kind of information.

So I did some searching and searched some more. Disappointed by not finding any serious solutions, I took to 𝕏 to ask if people knew of a centralized place to find what fun stuff was happening around.

That's when my friend Omry challenged me to build it.

And I did! And muchiround.com was born.

From that day on I have been chipping at it bit by bit and every day it matures to be something resembling the vision that I had originally.

With time Muchiround will evolve to be more than just an events platform. It's going to be where business happens. However, how we get there will depend on the direction the experiments I make and the general usage of the platforom.

Muchiround has become a long-running project I'm using as a testbed for new programming techniques and learning new technologies like AI. It is a practical way for me to get to the next level of technical competence.

I have also added a twist to it, something unlike anything I have done in the past. I am building this in public. Talking to people and putting myself out there was never my strong suit and this is a chance for me to also improve soft skills such as marketing and customer support.

Wherever this road will take me, I am surely going to take you with me and hopefully one day I will look back at this moment and be proud of myself.
